Return & Refund Policy

At Monkey Music Store, we strive to ensure that every customer receives high-quality musical instruments and accessories. If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, please review the return guidelines below.

Return Eligibility

To qualify for a return, the product must meet the following conditions:

  • The product must be in brand-new, unused condition.
  • The product must be returned with original packaging, manuals, accessories, and warranty card (if applicable).
  • The item must not show any signs of usage, damage, or alteration.
  • Returns must be requested and authorized within 5 days of delivery.

Missing or Damaged Packaging

Customers must pack the product securely in the original packaging exactly as it was delivered to avoid damage during return shipment.

If the returned product:

  • Arrives damaged due to improper packaging, or
  • Is missing original packaging or accessories

then the return may be rejected or subject to a restocking fee of up to 15% of the product value.

Non-Returnable Items

The following products are not eligible for return unless they have a verified manufacturing defect:

  • Opened or used guitar strings and reed boxes
  • Computer software
  • Audio interfaces
  • MIDI keyboards or products requiring software registration
  • Earphones, earplugs, or in-ear monitoring devices (for hygiene reasons)
  • Traditional and ethnic wind instruments, including:
    • Saxophones
    • Harmonicas
  • Pickups or electronic components that have been installed
  • Drumheads and drumsticks
  • Books, cassettes, CDs, DVDs, or instructional videos
  • Any instrument with a missing, altered, or tampered serial number
  • Open-box products (unless found defective)
  • Products damaged due to:
    • Use of incorrect power supply
    • Voltage fluctuation or electrical instability

Open Box Products

Products sold as Open Box have already been inspected and tested to ensure functionality. These products cannot be returned unless they are found to be non-functional upon delivery.

How to Initiate a Return

Once the return request is approved:

  1. You will receive return authorization instructions.
  2. The product must be shipped back within 5 days of delivery.
  3. The item must be properly packed to prevent transit damage.

Refund Process

Once the returned product is received and inspected:

  • Refunds will be processed for the product value only.
  • Shipping and handling charges are non-refundable.

After verification:

  • Refunds will be initiated within 5 business days.
  • The amount will be credited via the original payment method, subject to banking and payment gateway timelines.

Return Policy Exceptions

Damaged or Defective Products

If a product arrives damaged or defective, you must report the issue within 24 hours of delivery.

Please provide:

  • Photos or videos clearly showing the issue
  • Order details and invoice

After verification, the product will be replaced with a brand-new item or refunded in full.

Missing Accessories

If your order arrives with missing accessories, you must notify us within 24 hours of delivery.

Claims made after this period may not be accepted.

Showroom Purchases

This return policy applies only to online purchases made through the Monkey Music Store website or online platforms.

Products purchased directly from our physical showroom are not eligible for return, as customers have the opportunity to inspect and choose the instrument before purchase.

These variations do not affect the quality, functionality, or performance of the instrument.
